Common questions
- I subscribed, but pages are still locked. How do I restore my purchase?
-
Tap the gear icon on the home screen to open Settings, then tap Restore purchases under Subscription. You can also tap Restore on the subscription screen.
Make sure your phone is signed in to the same Google account or Apple ID you subscribed with. If restoring says no purchases were found, write to us.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
-
Subscriptions are managed by the store, not inside the app:
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose Mellow Colors and tap Cancel subscription.
- iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose Mellow Colors and tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Can I get a refund?
-
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and we can't issue them ourselves. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request one from your order history in Google Play.
- Where is my artwork saved?
-
On your phone or tablet, inside the app. It is not uploaded to us, and there is no account or cloud sync, so it doesn't move between devices.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes your artwork. If your device backup is turned on (Android backup for your Google account, or iCloud backup on iPhone), it can be restored when you reinstall from that backup. To keep a copy of a finished page, open it and tap Share to save or send it as an image.
- Do reminders come from a server?
-
No. The daily reminder is a notification scheduled on your device. It is off until you turn it on in Settings under Reminders, Daily reminder, and the app asks for notification permission only then. If you said no to that permission, turn notifications on for Mellow Colors in your phone's settings.
- Which pages are free?
-
Five pages are always free. On top of that, one premium page is free for everyone each day: look for Today's free page on the home screen. A Premium subscription unlocks the rest of the library.
- Does it work without internet?
-
Yes. The pages are built into the app, so you can color offline.
- Can the app tell me the names of colors?
-
Yes. Turn on Show color names in Settings under Accessibility, and every swatch gets a label with its name and hex code. This is meant for people with color vision deficiency.
- How do I change my privacy choices?
-
Open Settings and look under Privacy. The entry is called Your Privacy Choices (in some US states, "Do not sell or share my personal information"). There you can turn usage statistics and crash reports on or off and view or delete your consent history. The privacy policy explains what each setting does, and how to ask for a copy of your data or its deletion.
